After a quick phone call or online appointment, NMB Mobile Urgent Care team will arrive equipped with all the supplies, tests, and other tools necessary to provide advanced medical care at your location. We are able to treat a wide range of non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses. All of our Providers have at least three years of emergency and/or urgent care experience to provide you with the highest quality healthcare. Our mobile urgent care currently sees patients anywhere in North Myrtle Beach, Little River, Cherry Grove Beach, Longs, or Atlantic Beach in South Carolina. Why we do not accept insurance
When medical providers accept insurance, they are required to use treatment methods that are covered by your insurance plan. This means they have very little say in how you are treated based on your individual needs. Ironically, most people that work for insurance companies are not medically trained! They certainly have not met you and do not know anything about you. Most insurance models are set up where the medical provider has to see a patient every 7.5 minutes in order to make a reasonable living! This is not fair to the provider or to the patient!
A recent survey in 2017 found that 51% of workers had a plan that required them to pay at least $1,000 out of pocket for healthcare until insurance picks up most of the rest. According to an article published in the annals of internal medicine “over one third of all healthcare costs in the US are due to insurance company overhead and providers’ time spent billing”. This means the average American is paying more than $2000 a year for useless bureaucracy.
