WHAT WE CANNOT DO:

 At NMB Mobile Urgent Care, we are able to handle many urgent medical needs. Remember, there is a time to call us and a time to go to the nearest emergency department or call 911. Reasons to Go to the ER or dial 911:

Signs of a stroke including:

  • Sudden weakness or numbness of the face, arm, or leg on one side of the body.
  • Sudden loss of vision, particularly in one eye.
  • Difficulty talking or understanding speech.
  • Sudden, severe headache

Unexplained dizziness, unsteadiness, or sudden falls, especially when paired with other stroke-like symptoms.

Loss of consciousness.

Severe shortness of breath.

Signs of a heart attack including:

  • Pressure, fullness, squeezing, or pain in the center of the chest.
  • Tightness, burning, or aching under the breastbone.

Drowsiness, unexplained disorientation.

A major injury, such as a head trauma.

Wanting to hurt yourself or others. 

 Notice: we do not treat chronic pain or carry narcotics or any controlled medication on our units.
